Once I start in the new company, ideally I want to immediately apply for PR, but one of the required documents is this:
A9 Current Employer’s letter stating the date of employment, position held, salary per month for the past 6 months with breakdown into basic, overtime and allowance per month

Do I need to wait until my 6th Month in the new company?
Regardless of the probability, can I technically apply under that condition?
Which words are you having difficulties with in the blue statement? A9 Starts with "Current Employer's" and goes on to tell you what should accompany that letter in the same sentence. It did not specify any other employer or multiple employers, so that would mean you have been with your current employer 6 full months at least. There is no 'technically' involved here.

MOCHS & smoulder......

You guys have been reading too many of my posts. You both are starting to get as cynical as ME! :P (frankly, I love it! )
My cynicism, to a large extent also comes from years of experience as a system designer. We always have to spend time idiot proofing the system.

Thanks. Is there a decent chance this time around? I do realise the race quota works against us :)

How long are you working in SG? Better to apply atleast after 2 years of work.

If not, chance will be low

Kind of discouraging to see everyone else is posting such a high salary >$100K while my field (biology, production, lab) doesn't even pay that high at all ($40k-$50) on average :'(
Only managerial/executive position gets higher but these positions are usually held by people with Business educations/MBA.

What do you think of my chance?
Job: Biotechnologist/Production technician in Big Pharma
Education: Bachelor in Biomedical Sciences & Diploma in Biotechnology
Length of stay since 2014
Studied in local polytechnic 2011-2014, work near 3 years under Work permit, studied in private university, and now nearly 3 years work under Employment Pass.

You didn’t post marital status, age, nationality and race which are key criteria too.

High pay does not mean auto PR at all. ICA looks at those who have integrated into SG and willing to sink roots here.

I’m a citizen in the same industry as you and successfully sponsored PR for my foreigner husband. My pay isn’t 100K either. Of course, all applications are on a case by case basis.

Seems like a good profile to give PR to, TBH. But that's me, and I don't work at ICA. All the best with your application!

Apply via family ties scheme aka your wife sponsors your PR and your chances are highly favourable.

Will likely get it. If rejected, reapply after 1 year
