Lower than before. Will look like you plan on busting up the family if you apply on your own. Not the image you want to portray. At least I don't think it is.
Hi sms / singaporeflyer, thanks for the inputs. Keep safe :)

Try again but dont have high hopes
Thanks, I'm keeping my expectations low.
You think there's anything I can do to improve the profile?
I know a couple of people with very similar profile that got PR in 2016 and 2017... I think that was under the current immigration regime (i.e. after tightening), so it doesn't seem impossible?
It is surely not impossible. You still will have a chance, just that it will be low. Nothing much can be done.

Have you ever applied PR from PEP? If no, apply once asap.
Nope haven't applied since I changed to PEP.
Just out of curiosity, do you think having a PEP changes anything?
Just asking since I was told pretty much everyone who meets the income threshold and fills in the form gets PEP... so it's not like it's an exclusive club.

As far as I know, PEP -> PR used to be easier than EP -> PR.

I got my PR while I was on PEP 10 years ago. I was rejected few times while on EP. Not saying PEP is the only reason, but it likely was a small factor atleast.

PEP was originally conceived as an intermediate stepping stone to give EP holders with high earning potential the ability to "taste" the flexibility of PR without incurring CPF and the 30 day SVP at the end of a contract/job. It was originally for a non-renewable 5 years period. But it was rapidly abused by a certain ethnic group and the MOM shortened it to 3 years and still non-renewable. And it's still being abused as very few on the PEP seem to make the next step to PR. SF is one, in a sea of PEP holders, who actually made the jump. :-)

A divorced mother (PRC) with Singaporean child. Is it possible to appeal to ICA to get PR in order to apply for a Hdb flat to stay? Any advice appreciated.

Are you working and on what visa now?

PR in order to apply for a Hdb flat - If this is the reason, surely No I think in my view.

Marriage of convenience gone wrong? How long have you been married? How old is the child? Is the child in school?

Good morning. With MOM stopped accepting new entry applications for work pass holders from higher-risk countries since last month, does it make a better time to submit an PR application now ? Or it won't affect the approval chances at all? Thanks...

Call me confused. starxu says, "married for 5 years. divorced for 4 years," yet on LTVP+.

So how?
