How to remove whatsapp group without 'leaving the group'

Leaving the group is quite obvious that everyone knows I am not interested to be in it.

Is there other options to leave / remove (without getting further msgs) without leaving?

You can choose to mute the group so you will not be notified of future messages. Thereafter, you can archive the chat so you will not see it al all.

Is it possible to block out a person from WhatsApp without blocking? As it would seem obvious if I blocked him/her.
