bad experience with Shopee
Re: bad experience with Shopee
Yes - Laz and Shopee etc are only really useful for small low value items.

Re: bad experience with Shopee
Assuming you paid with a credit card there is a feature called chargeback/dispute for all 3 major cc. Banks have special forms for this. The process is a bit lengthy but for $550 may be worth a try.shawqi.taleb wrote: ↑Fri, 25 Dec 2020 12:12 amBought 2 cabinets from Shopee.

Re: bad experience with Shopee
To my understanding, shopee is a portal for sellers to list and sell stuff. So it really is the sellers fault.
Lazada is a mix of both. Same as Amazon.
ie lazada and Amazon both sells as well as lists sellers items.
So the key is really to know who the seller is.

Re: bad experience with Shopee
Try to ask your bank refund and cite that seller has sold you a defective item. I've requested once I think was from Lazada or shopee and bank managed to refund. In my case was also shopee lazada/shopee refused to refund.
I now try to only buy small, inexpensive items from these apps. Cos getting a refund can be a pain in the butt.
