Hi all , here is an update: My Application was rejected last week.
The rejected letter indicated: You may submit an application again if there is a change in your circumstances (from the information provided in this application) Please advise recently all the reject letter indicated the same information? Thanks all for your replies.

Better not to base on this information. What if 10 of them come back and 6 say Yes, 4 say No?

You must be focusing on what to improve, how, etc rather than this rejection letter analysis

Hello,
I would appreciate your input on this, haven't found any similar post in all the PR application threads.

Age: 34
Race: Caucasian (European)
Education 1: Bachelor of Education
Education 2: Master of Arts in eEducation
Occupation: Tuition Teacher for local company
Salary: 65K, paid taxes 3 times now
Pass Type: LTVP with LOC (Since January 2018)
I have applied for PR last year, without success, including appeal with local MP letter.

Age: 32
Race: Chinese (born Singaporean Citizen, lived here all her life)
Education: Bachelor in Social Science
Salary: 50K
Occupation: Public Servant officer

We married November 2017 and have a child who is also SC, 8 months old.
I know the salaries are on the low side, but does having a Singaporean family not mitigate that sufficiently?

Improve both of your salaries slightly and then apply again.

Thanks a lot @ sundaymorningstaple for your assessment. May I check if the chances will increase if I wait for a year and then apply? Or if there is anything else that can improve the probability. Thanks in advance. :)

Nothing specific. You need to remember that there are several thousands of your countrymen all applying for the same VERY limited number of slots (for your demographic - we are guessing 2500 for the year). You are not competing for the 30K PR to be issued, but 7.5% of that number (the Indian demographic) but the largest number of applicants applying in total numbers are the same demographic. You are competing with your friends, neighbours and/or colleagues from India. All with similar academics, Industries and salaries that average between 120~400K pa. Sadly, it is what it is.

Thanks a lot for sharing your views @sundaymorningstaple. In that case, would you recommend applying for PR this year or wait for one more year and go for it next year (after completing 5 years in SGwith 4 tax assessments).

Thanks again for the help. :)

If it's your first application and you can handle rejection, I'd go ahead and apply for it. You buys your ticket and takes your chances. If you buy and lose, remember it was a dicey chance in the first place. If you win, you definitely win and have beat the odds. However, if you don't buy a ticket I can guarantee you will not win. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Normally I don't advise this but your profile looks decent but it is only the number of your countrymen you are up against that is your problem. Give it a shot but understand the odds at the same time. Good Luck.
