Hi all,
I am an EP holder who has worked in Singapore for 9 years.
My monthly income is $10,000+ and age is 41.
I applied PR for myself in the last year but got rejected.
My guess is because I did not include my hubby who does not live in Singapore (we have no kids, FYI).
He recently got DP but his residence base will still not be in Singapore.
If I retry PR application in this situation, is it better to include him or not?
If I apply on my own, is the chance of getting PR really small?
I would appreciate your advice!

Try and see. But I feel age and ethnicity may be negative factors. But please try

Korean (unless ethnic Chinese and verifiably so) fall into the "other" basket which is a tiny number of PR's here. Considering you are not applying as a family and you appear to be over breeding age (or disinclined to do so) I rate your chances as close to zero.
The gahmen has made it very very very clear that PR is a population growth tool and race balancing tool.

This is so disappointing! So it does not matter whether my husband resides in SG or I apply PR with him?

IT matters but statistically you've missed the boat I think. Read the latest report from SingStats on population etc (linked in this forum somewhere). PR is clearly cut off in early 40s (when people stop having kids).
