Hello,
I am a foreigner working in Singapore - and although we were recently rejected for our PR I won't lose hope! We really do love living here.
Anyways - in my home country being US I used to run a consulting business which I would also give free services at certain times to senior university students on their projects or those recently graduated.
My question is, if I do this for students like before as a volunteering service, and setup a website, of course have biz cards or handouts to help get the word out and connect with professors...would Singapore see this as a violation to my EP? Even though I wouldn't be making money it may very well appear as a business to an observer.
Of course this is part to do in a long term plan that if in another 2 or 3 years I were to get PR I will have been networked and built my reputation without wasted time, since I would love to continue my business in Singapore at some point.
Thanks
