Most of the votes for Biden were more of a vote against Trump... and it’s not because everyone thinks Biden will be the best president ever. There was a lot of disappointment on the left that Biden was nominated because he is more of a moderate. But this should be viewed as a good thing, especially since the Senate is likely to stay in Republican hands. Biden has a history of being able to work across the aisle, but doing so won’t make others in his party happy. The democrats need to recognize that few in America share their liberal views, and that is exactly why so many voted for Trump. But many democrats tend to show contempt for anyone who don’t share their views, and that is not a recipe to unite the country. Let’s see if Biden can reign in his party, that is the key.
