Hey all, not sure if forums are still a thing but given the little situation we have on our hands (the pandemic) who knows this might just work.

So here goes: I'm 36 F from Sydney. Grew up in India, lived in NZ for a while and have called Australia home for 11 years. Been in Singapore since Feb and spent the lockdown in a hotel. I love random adventures through the city, being active, getting up to mischief (within reason) and all kind of fun and going-outy things.

Most Whatsapp groups that start on here are, in reality, non-starters. Generally they are started by newbies who, not knowing the dynamics of expat boards in Singapore and Asia in general, are usually inundated with requests to join by certain married males who are here on single status employment passes and only looking for stuff for free. That's usually the end of the group. We've seen it time and time again and also heard anecdotal stories as well. So don't be giving out telephone number and only ensure you meet up in groups. Forewarned is forearmed.
