Divorce

Post by Poon34 » Tue, 27 Oct 2020 12:33 pm

What will happen if my spouse refuses to give maintenance for me and my child? I’m having a divorce with him and he is refusing to give maintenance to me and our child. Anyone that can give advice?

I think it's better the two of you agree on specific terms including maintenance because it will be easier if you do so. If doesn't agree, he might seek his own legal advice. I learned this from IRB law when I had my divorce last year.

You can apply to the Family Court for a child support order.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!
