Is it possible to open a POSB / dbs savings account for the domestic helper?

Yes. I did so a year or so ago.

Does anyone's helper have a local bank account ...? ie: DBS, OCBC, UOB? Would think it's easier to transfer salary every month. What's needed?

malcontent yes my ex indonesian helper was also always asking for lump sum salary to pay for childrens' education..I'll personally prefer to pay...
