No news on my citizenship application
Re: No news on my citizenship application
Your race is critical here. If you China Indonesian you are ok. If you're Orang Asli type Indonesian well I'm surprised you got this far. In general this is a positive sign EXCEPT your hubby salary so low huh?
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

"your hubby salary so low huh?"
I would be a bit sensitive in the choice of words.

I think considering other things, you have a decent chance, been in SG quite long, have sporean spouse, kids etc. Though if you are Indo ch it would be more positive (from your id just my guess otherwise). salary is important but not the only criteria. All the best. You can/could have improve your chances significantly if you join the workforce.

The moderators have always sided with insensitive replies on the pretext that the answer calls a spade a spade

Posters who make spurious comments in threads where no moderators have posted also leave a crappy taste as it looks like a trolls comment. Trolls don't last too long.

The way I phrased this is exactly how a Singaporean would phrase it. They don't intend to be rude, (nor was I). It's an exclamation of wonderment....juggernaut wrote: ↑Mon, 02 Nov 2020 2:49 pmThe moderators have always sided with insensitive replies on the pretext that the answer calls a spade a spade. Are you a Singaporean ? And why do you have to phrase for others ? Just speak your mind and do show some empathy in your replies . Your points are spot on and invaluable its only the snarky snide remarks that you add makes me raise this point .PNGMK wrote: ↑Tue, 03 Nov 2020 10:21 amThe way I phrased this is exactly how a Singaporean would phrase it.
