Starting a youtube channel

How do I start? Do I just upload my video of interest on a regular basis?

Upload quality videos, link your channel from your website and all your promotion materials, social media channels.

Youtube channel is useless if there is no viewers.

Smells like a spammer, but yes. Just upload whatever you want. If you want more advice, I'd check just about anywhere else. I don't imagine we have many career youtubers here but I could always be mistaken, who knows.
