Transfer maid mess

Seeking a way out of this situation -

So after months of trying to get FDW approval finally my application was approved, but as luck would have it the current employer is backing out now.

Do note that I do have the signed written consent from present employer and same was submitted to MOM for the application.

With IPA issued can the present employer deny the transfer?

No I disagree. Consent can be withdrawn. I'm not surprised actually as original FDW employer obviously woke up to the fact that there are no new FDW coming in. You will most likely have to find a new transfer FDW.

What might help if this the FDW you want gives notice to her existing employer.

Yup, spoke to MOM customer care, so current employer can still not sign the declaration form and apparently nothing much can be done about this.

Oh dear...so PNGMK is right..better to find a new transfer helper, employer probably realised its hard to find a helper now.
