The Straits Times reported that Singapore Airlines, well more specifically SilkAir, will be restarting flights from Singapore to Maldives by the end of the year.

There are some out there who think that Singapore will open a leisure bubble with Maldives, which would involve having resorts solely for the use of Singaporeans so as to keep them isolated from every other visitor.
And if they do this, they won't have to isolate on return.

maybe by year end a UK citizen can fly from UK (say) to Maldives, stay 14 days then fly to Singapore with no quarantine?
Re: Singapore Airlines to restart flights to Maldives
There are some countries trying to become hubs in this new world and I do think the Maldives is trying to do that. Because they have so many isolated islands and hotels they can create virtual bubbles based on source and destination for a huge number of countries.martincymru wrote: ↑Tue, 06 Oct 2020 3:37 pmmaybe by year end a UK citizen can fly from UK (say) to Maldives, stay 14 days then fly to Singapore with no quarantine?
