Who's back to work in the office?
Who's back to work in the office?
So who's back to work at the office? I can imagine dragging your feet after being at home for so many months..in any case, do stay safe and well.

We were told "no change". Company is really struggling to keep our actual factory production people in and safe and output up and don't want to risk some office drone or cubicle clown infecting the machinists etc.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Wow, looks like it would stay this way at least till next year, possibly for larger companies. Good to stay safe than sorry.

Re: Who's back to work in the office?
I'm back in on alternate weeks starting next week. Not really looking forward to it - mostly because of having to wear a mask the whole bloody day... I can easily do (and have been doing) my job from home and would honestly prefer to keep it that way. However certain managerial types are only content when they see bums on seats in the office.

Re: Who's back to work in the office?
Yeah I can imagine wearing masks the whole day brings a lot of discomfort and totally unbreathable. Animals seem to have a better life than most of us now.

There are more cars on the road and more crowd at eating places.
So far not much change for me.
Looks like COVID-19 is well controlled in SG.

Re: Who's back to work in the office?
We decided explicitly to continue with work from home until masks will no longer be mandatory in offices.
(we could be talking years)
I got a few practical errands in there once in a while, but otherwise 95% of all work hrs are spent at home. Works fine.
No way I'd ever sit in the office 9-5 with a face mask...
- apologies & full sympathy for all those who are forced to.

The lesson's from overseas are not being learned here that well. Reopening leads to infection spikes. We will be in a CB again if these clowns continuing opening what I consider non essential industries and R&R outlets.
