Converted Class 2b, just got a foreign car license need BTT again ?!

Sort of a dicey situation.
I ve got my class 2b back in 2016 after clearing BTT at cdc centre.

My foreign car license was issued only on 2018 in India. Now I am planning to get a class 3.
So can i go for a direct conversion or need to take BTT again?

It might sound like a rare case, but what are my options. Did someone come across the same kind of scenario before?

It means so my first BTT that I have taken already for the class 2b isn't viable enough? And I will have to take BTT again to for my class 3 conversion.

I am not 100% certain but I believe so. This is to stop people (who have become PR for example) going back to home country and short cuttting the process by paying coffee money for license. Also 2b is motobike and the BTT is diff for car.
