Tell us more details about the sponsor. Most of the evaluation may be on the sponsor's profile / capability to support you financially.vijay.bala wrote: ↑Wed, 16 Sep 2020 9:36 pmHi All,

Re: PR application
I don't think 5% increase is going to be substantial enough to get your PR, even if you're married to a PR.vijay.bala wrote: ↑Mon, 21 Sep 2020 12:42 pmThis yr Jan-2020. Every time wen i apply I make sure I got my pay increase around 5% max. other than that nothing new.
65k is not a lot of money = 5k per month, add yours and you're looking as a family unit of only around 6k/month/person.
As we say here, you have to look at how you compare with the rest of your cohort. Your salary is low compared to other Indians in Singapore.
At the same time, your wife probably got PR when times were a lot easier, but if she were to apply now solely on her own merits as a new arrival, she would likely have not got it. They would likely allow renewals of REP to those who continue to meet the criteria when they arrived, but if adding family members they would probably be using current criteria.
Apply if you want, but I suspect it will be another disappointing response.

Re: PR application
Many thanks for your advice. So I should manage to get a job which gets me a higher pay right ? Any idea on the salary range like 7k or 8k p.m ?

Re: PR application
I think you need to look at your family when you're applying. Ignore the fact your wife has PR. Her profile suggests that she wouldn't get PR in the current environment, so the fact she is PR is of little help to you.
As an Indian in Singapore your application doesn't stand out. You will need to get a significantly higher salary (to make up for both your wife's low salary and yours).
I know bankers on 10k/month who didn't get theirs even prior to covid. So you need to be aiming higher than that.
