Mustafa is in the Singapore public eyes run by a benevolent multi milllionaire. I disagree. This guy has been using FT to avoid paying Sinkie wages for years. I have no tears to shed if he goes bankrupt but he won't.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.

I think they were fined. Interestingly Mustafa is the only place I have had a credit card skimmed in Singapore. It was around 2006 - the checkout clerk passed me this (I am not joking) Heath Robinson wooden homemade keypad to punch my pin into - which I did without thinking. 5 mins later DBS called to say your card has been skimmed/stopped.

Wow, did you file a police complaint?

Don't apply around holiday times, the usual 3-4 weeks can extend to several months. And tax residency makes no difference.
