Based on what I know, MOM does not need to reveal the reason for rejection explicity to the employer for the rejection of an EP/DP application. But in most cases to help the employer, they MAY reveal the rejection reason at a high level. But in your case, you closely know the reason for rejection, without asking the same from MOM. Just my 2 cents.

When the employer checks online, is the status rejected?

Reason MAY be visible online to the employer

No the status isn't rejected on the online portal, which is why we are scratching our heads and there hasn't been any reason given to the employer, online or otherwise. From what I read on the MoM website, to lodge an appeal you need to respond specifically to the reasons given for the rejection and we don't have this.

Wait for the official decision. Meanwhile ask the employer side to speak to MOM that they received a call etc from MOM, etc
