Also after PR application rejected by ICA?
If so, all the best to you then
I'm not sure how long is their cooling period befor SC application.
If I'm not mistaken, his children PR application got rejected 6times.
The only advantage, they're Indian national
Enlighten me pls - how is being an Indian national an advantage in this case?
Like everybody knows that when it comes to races/ethnicity, indians are one of the priorities unlike Filipinos and other nationality are the least priorities.

Yes, you must be right. Because when it comes to form filling, Indian is listed along with Chinese and Malay. While others are just ‘Others’.

Lotteries have really bad odds. People still buy it anyway.
So yeah, good luck.
Your odds of citizenship are far better than Toto odds.

When the PR application got rejected 6 times... I would not call it priority.
I struggle to see the logic on the flow... but since you have already submitted your application, I'll just wish you luck.
Do update if there is any progress.

Any thoughts on chances?
Male, early 30s, Malaysian Chinese
Married to a foreigner who is on a LTVP with PLOC under my sponsorship - she earns more than me though
Salary: $7XXX
Occupation: Statutory Board since 2013
Education: Undergraduate and 2x Masters from Russell Group UK universities
Been a PR since 2018 and applied promptly on the 2nd anniversary of PR in May 2020. Wondering if the foreign spouse will be an issue for ICA....
You should be OK. if rejected apply after 1-2 years.
Update for the benefit of others: Looks like the status changed to "Approved" on MyICA yesterday. Can't see anything else or click through so I assume a letter will come through eventually. That was 10 and a bit months, which is unusually fast....

Just an update everyone,
For 20 months there have been no results so far.
Please anyone can give a reason why my family's SC application is still pending till today?

There are other applications that have been taking 12-20 months before covid. So with COVID and slowdown, 20 months is not something unusual.
