Has anyone with a salary between 5.5k to 6.5k been approved for their EPs during this pandemic period? I have submitted a new EP application as a Sales & Marketing Director at a small firm (under 5-10 employees hence exempt from job advertising requirements) at 6K monthly salary, and wondering what my chances are of approval. If rejected, can an appeal be sent indicating my salary would be higher, or would a change/increase in salary require a new application to be submitted?
From what I've gathered on here and other forums/groups it seems EPs are only being approved for high-level positions with salaries above atleast 8-9k per month?

Dear All,
I have been following this post from last 1 + month. Reason being same I wanted to know if EPs are getting approved or not. And I feel it make sense to share some updates which will give positivity.
I am in touch with 3 of my friends whose EP get approved recently and also mine get approved today. So since September - 2020 I can say 4 EPs get approved.
Timelines - EP get approved in 12 to 14 days and for one it took exact 21 days.
Salary Bracket - all four comes under 7-13 K bracket
Location - All 4 are in Singapore
I just want to say - don't worry EPs are getting approved it might take some time but no rejection what I have seen till now.
All the very best.
Thanks you.

Do they do a background check apart from checking the uploaded documents? I already had to have my degree verified by Dataflow since my university was not in the list of universities available when applying for EP.
Hi, may I ask you how long did the degree verified by Dataflow take with your case? Thank you.
I've been waiting for 1.5 months from the verbal offer to the work pass application, but now HR required a data flow check. I wonder why they didn't do it earlier as when I searched around the dataflow website said it takes 30-35 working days. So horrible!

Yep, same case for me... They realized I needed a diploma translation weeks after I reviewed their EP application draft. Then months later they came with the Dataflow verification. All this during the CB period. In total, the verification took about three weeks.

I had to create an inquiry on Dataflow's help desk page then they sent back the case number. From my experience, Dataflow is cheaper but takes longer processing time (SGD 110 and 30-35 working days), while RMI is more expensive but takes shorter processing time (SGD 190 and 15-20 working days).
In my case, RMI finished the degree check within 5 working days but only shared the full report after 19 working days from the order date. But it's still faster than Dataflow.

The only way to evaluate is to use the SAT tool. There is NO other way.

If the SAT shows that I am eligible for an EP, what is the probability of the positive outcome (approved in actual)?

You can walk in, just go very early and queue. Even if it’s unsuccessful, it’s worth a try.
Does the sponsor have to be there I assume?
I think...
