Well that is, indeed a good point. People should make money in the right way. While considering the nature of company and the industry that I am working on, it seems like the career progression in company A might not be as optimistic as it looks. And I think that is also one of the reasons why I call my thread a dilemma. Thanks for commenting bro!

Verbally Accept Offer but a Better Offer Comes Out

Re: Verbally Accept Offer but a Better Offer Comes Out
Thanks for commenting. This is quite a moral dilemma for me currently. I guess the only thing I could do is wait and see how things go. Well if B doesn't give me the offer eventually then it could be easily solved lol. "Good company carries a boost to an early career", I agree with this, but it also makes the decision even tougher and more painful.PNGMK wrote: ↑Tue, 04 Aug 2020 9:36 amI would take the better offer. I've made the mistake before of mistaking loyalty as a value in the corporate world. Company A can find a new hire. If you have an actual written offer from B, take it and apologise to company A. B's offer must be written and binding (i.e. a signed letter with a commencement date).
Quite a few people I know have recently tried to jump ships only to fall in between.
I disagree with Addadude. Being in a good company from the very start can be a fantastic boost to an early career.

B has not given you an offer? Take up A. If for some reason B comes through then resign.
