Living in Sentosa

Post by abbby » Mon, 03 Aug 2020 11:01 am

Anyone lives/lived in Sentosa? How did you find the public transport ie: condo shuttle bus and Sentosa Cove shuttle bus, was it convenient and fast, or did you have to wait a long time for both buses to go Vivocity?

Really nice place, but concerned over the convenience and timing of the 2 shuttle buses.

Don't know about living there but it's inconvenient as a visitor.

If you are single n u drive, that is a wonderful place to stay. If you are married with kids need to attend school, i suggest you look elsewhere.

Sentosa community shuttle runs on a timely basis. I would take it to Vivo city where you can take MRT, Bus, cab to anywhere.
If you have a car it does take some time to get off Sentosa before even going to say CBD.

Expat families with children love this area as it has lots of green space for open play as well as marina area.
Close to probably the busiest mall in Singapore, Vivo city and Harborfront with a large library outpost.

If you are single or pre family I would pick Orchard area . Lots of options to get everywhere.

I am drawn to the sea and Vivocity. It's as good as what you can get in Orchard Road without needing to go to Orchard.

The condo bus and sentosa cove bus runs concurrently? Meaning you'll reach sentosa cove via condo bus in time to catch the sentosa cove bus?

Then, if I were you, I would check out The Corals, The Caribbean or Reflections By The Bay. You can rent a sea view (well marina view) unit and, especially with the The Corals or The Caribbean, be within walking distance of Vivocity. Although it's older, I particularly like the Caribbean.

Yes, I love these projects too as they're close by the mall and Harbourfront MRT. Have to pick out the right unit as Reflections at Keppel Bay (facing golf course) units will be redeveloped in 2021 and Caribbean has many units with massive roof terraces (large units without roof terraces are rather rare).
