Citizenship Application 2019

Post by sharkyfy » Sat, 01 Aug 2020 1:18 am

Hi,

I just need your advice, I've been following this website and decided to create an account. been getting helpful insights from peeps like SMS, singaporeflyer, and many more 😂

I applied citizenship last September 2019 and i wanna know what are my chances like

- Age: 28
- Race: filipino
- Gender: Female
- Salary: 56k+ annual income working in IT MNC
- PR for 2 years and 5 months now
- Length of stay in singapore: 7 years
- Education: Uni Degree
- Status: Engaged to Singaporean Chinese
We recently purchased a resale HDB flat under fiance scheme

I applied on my own merit for the citizenship application because I'm not married to my fiance yet. Thanks to covid it was put on hold 😬

Thank you in advanced for your advices. ❤️

ICA may think since you can’t follow simple instruction then they may start looking at your application when your have reached 2 years of PR then add on the usual processing time.

Chances wise should be decent since you got PR 2 years ago when it’s not been easy for your compatriots and based on salary that I deem a tad too low. Getting a flat and marrying a local will further enhance your chance.

If you don’t succeed this time, wait for 2 years after marriage and get your husband to sponsor you.

Likely you will face rejection as the salary is on the lower side. Improve on your career and salary and apply after 2-3 years or 2 years after marriage with your SC spouse as the sponsor.
