EP cancelled while awaiting PEP

Post by pete_899 » Thu, 30 Jul 2020 6:26 pm

Does anyone have experience in this situation:
1. you meet the requirements and apply for a PEP (personalised employment pass) while on an EP
2. some time after applying for the PEP, but before the PEP is issued, your EP is cancelled and you switch to 30-day Short Term Visit Pass (STVP)

Assuming the PEP is processed before the end of the STVP, will the fact that you are no longer on an EP when the PEP is issued be a problem?

Hi,

Did you PEP approved in the end while you were holding STVP?

What we don't know is if pete_899 notified the MOM when his EP was canceled as is required. If not he probably found himself up a creek without a paddle.
