Hi guys, hope you all doing great!
I have received my PR result after 6 months.

Here is my info:
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Marriage status: Single
Job: System Analyst
Nationality: Malaysian
Race: Chinese
Religion: Buddhism
Salary: - Average as what you find online, I cant post it here as I am using personal account.
Original Pass: EP with 2 years

Timeline:
21 May 2019 - Started working in SG
08 Jan 2020 - Apply for ePR, after 6 payslips as per requirement. (before increment and paying taxes)
26 July 2020 (Sunday morning) - ePR Status changed to approved! Approved date stated as 13 July 2020. (I refresh every few hours so I know the exact date when it is updated, lol)

Something I've noticed is that in 'https://eservices.ica.gov.sg/ipepr/index.xhtml', before 13 July (approval), it is showing me a dropdown to 'Submit requested documents':


After 13 July, the dropdown is gone:


After checking online and with my friends, I found that the processing time is very random.
One of my friend got it after 3 months, studied in MY, staying in SG for 2 years +.
One of them got it after 4 months, studied in SG, and working for 2 years+, got it right before Covid period.
And other are 6 months to 1 years +. (and some stayed for many many years and still getting rejected)
So... Luck is the key here..

In addition to the dropdown being removed, I also found that the ‘Apply for Permanent Residence’ option is back. Was it the same for you?

Those who got PR applications outcome, can please tell me through which channel you get the outcome first?. By checking on ICA website, or getting email or physical letter.
It has been more than 14 months since I had applied. And checking the status daily seems to be crazy .

2 of my Malaysians colleagues also gets their approval within 6 months, on this year. I heard that those who works in IT and Healthcare services are the top priority nowadays.

I'm also from IT background, applying this year. Malaysian, been work in Singapore since 2015. Few days ago ICA emailed me asking to upload additional documents. Hopefully, I'll have my chance as well.

I'm also from IT background, applying this year. Malaysian, been work in Singapore since 2015. Few days ago ICA emailed me asking to upload additional documents. Hopefully, I'll have my chance as well.

My friend was asked to upload additional documents and received a positive outcome within 1.5 months of uploading the documents. All the best to you!

ohm wow! Many Congratulations! I think you got approval in just 4 months. I think no one was working on Xmas day as it was public holiday. So I am wondering if is it the only software which updates the status itself!

ohm wow! Many Congratulations! I think you got approval in just 4 months. I think no one was working on Xmas day as it was public holiday. So I am wondering if is it the only software which updates the status itself!

Thank you! Yes, I got my approval very fast. It was approved three days back (the date is mentioned next to the approval status) but the online system reflected today. Yes, I think once the officer approves, the system takes sometime to reflect the updated status (it changed to approve exactly after 12 am)

Please check your status twice - once in the morning and once in the evening. My friend almost missed her approval letter as it was approved in the system long back and she never checked and the letter arrived really late by post. Luckily she noticed at the last min and had to contact ICA regarding the delay in the physical letter etc.

I thought it is only me who is checking the status every day and after getting answer my frequency of checking the status might be less.
But After knowing your approval, I also checked the status in the morning (still pending).
I started checking every day after they asked me for additional information.
