If the company has no legal presence in Singapore and it provides no goods or services in Singapore, then you do not need any kind of a work permit to work for the foreign company.Hi, sorry to bother you but I saw in many post that you have a lot of knowledge around Freelance rules in SG for DPs.
I have an offer from a foreign company for a research project ( 3 -4 weeks) Company is not in SG and I would work from home.
I tried to call MOM several times but I can't get through.
You have an idea whats the best way to approach it? Is were a MOM email you can provide me with?
I read so many different rules that I am completely lost
Thanks a lot
You are required to report your income earned to IRAS. It does not matter who pays you or where you are paid. You would do this by filing as an unregistered sole proprietor with IRAS. The form is very simple for small amounts.
