As in, maybe what are my chances considering op and I have similar profiles?
Remember, similar doesn’t equate to identical profiles.

Having said that, your chances? I’d say pretty good. 80/20 in your favor.

Pros:
- Good salary
- Length of stay (local schooling definitely helps)
- Ethnicity (if you were Malaysian Chinese I’d put your chances as 95%)

Hello sorry to hijack your post!
But i believe we have similar profiles - 26/27years old female(27 in 2021), and stayed in SG for over 10-20 years, did all the national exams here.

But im still waiting :( i think possibly its the ROM?
Could I also ask why mine is longer as I applied in Aug 2019 too. Still pending. But i just had a job change - annual about 80-100k as sales in healthcare.

Thank you.
your profile is not the same as OT
She is PRC Chinese, you Indonsian Chinese
She work at marketing executive in IT company, you work at sales in healthcare.

Where got similar. Not even close

I’m not sure if it’s the ROM.. but I have few female friends same age as me recently applied PR got rejected.. I think it’s quite common for people our age to get married? So there are many out there who got married and proceed to give birth, they will be considered first? Not sure if I’m clear enough

jeya1994, that is possibly a valid point. No way of confirming it, but it all your female friends are Chinese, then demographically speaking, it boosts the numbers for the country in the direction that they want it to go, so it would make sense if all have/were giving birth. Interesting thought.

What's your ethnicity? From the name, I'm guessing Indian? That plays a part too.

Edit. Disregard the above question. Just read your first post.
