Solidarity Utilities Credit of s$100

Post by subashgk007 » Thu, 16 Jul 2020 2:18 pm

Has any non-singaporean received the solidarity utility credit of s$100 in July bill?

Image

I am on work pass and do not have a PR nor a singapore citizen living in the unit, to whom the credit is meant for. My owner stays in a different location with her family.

Here it is me, wife and kid.

After leaving them a message, it took 6 working days for SP services to respond that they don’t have any idea on it and agreed to check with relevant authorities.

Whilst I wait for their reply, just thought to check whether someone else has received it.

No you should not have gotten it. The govt will know unit you are is rented to non SC so it does seem strange. Maybe all HDB get it.

I am a PR with SC children in condo - I am wondering if we will get it. It comes either in July or Aug.

It took a while for SP services to come back and it is done.

Dear Mr Geetha
ACCOUNT NUMBER : xxxxxx

I refer to the above utilities account.

You shared that you are not a Singapore citizen and there is no Singapore citizen staying with you at xxxxxxxx. We will proceed to reverse the $100 Solidarity Utilities Credit from your account xxxxx, which will be returned to the Government. Please note that the recovery of the $100 Solidarity Utilities Credit is non-reversible.

Thank you.
Yours sincerely

Subash - you did the right thing. Their system is not perfect as I never received it and I have SC children. Could you kindly send me the email address you used? (on a PM).

Hello PNGMK,
I have left them a message from the utilities app(SP utilities in play store) by navigating to SP Utilities app >Explore> Help>"Drop Us a Message".

I can see a live chat option as well.
