How to extend STVP when the company already closed down

Post by Morpheusjay25 » Mon, 13 Jul 2020 11:39 am

Hi, My wife n daughter is a malaysian and im an indian national under S-pass.
Next week my pass will be cancelled and will be issued a STVP for 30days. But i need to settle my daughter to send her back to KL.
My wife is also working here under work permit.
I brought my daughter for school holidays on March bfore the border close down. Still i cannot find a solution to make her way back home.
I might need to extend and my bad, the current boss already closed his business. For the extention of the STVP can be done only through employer. But my case the company is closed. So who can apply for me the extension.
Pls kindly advice and help me in this topic. Thank you.

You probably need to apply for an Indian bound repatriation flight for your entire family. Once you have it booked request an extension from ICA showing them the date of your return. It's not workable for you to stay here waiting for Malaysia to open as I don't think you will get entry to Malaysia. I hope your family can get into India otherwise you may need to be separated.

Very difficult times indeed.
