I'm thinking of doing a boat skipper's license here and buying a used boat just to get out a bit more... I'd have never considered that pre Covid.
I had the same idea, got the license, then found out there's basically nowhere to go boating in Singapore.
I not troll/wacko/spammer.
Me no expat. Me foreigner.

CCS for the win. I think Heng is sick 😷
Not entirely convinced. His leaked audios show that he has enemies within.

That itself has dented whatever popularity he used to have.

I’d put my money on the dark horse, Lawrence
Well as said before, this whole generational change is nonsense. Promote those who are capable, when capable.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Despite groundswell and petitions, seems like CCS is the blue eyed boy. You may be right after all.

Maybe I am reading too much into it.

Contenders for the job, LW and OYK doesn’t seem to look quite as stellar now, especially from the online brickbats today and yesterday.

The most risk-averse one got the job. Can’t say I’m surprised, I would have preferred Ong Ye Kung or Tharman, but the latter wasn’t possible for obvious reasons.
