Hi, I submitted my PR application in November 2019 and was contacted by ICA in June 2020 to submit an additional document (CV of family members), which I have done. Still waiting for an outcome but do you guys think that this is a positive sign or neutral? Cheers.
Hi @Krazihaus , what's your profile ? Can you please share some details and are you applying under the PTS scheme / Spouse .

If one of your parent is SG Citizen, when you were born did you get SC and later surrender it at 21? Looks not going to be easy. Not common to hear PR granted to a child of a SC Citizen (unless your parent got SC recently and you were not included in the SC application as you were > 21 years old at that time)

I was born in the UK and have never been a SG citizen. My parents migrated in the 80s and still reside outside of SG (they are PRs in the UK and haven't given up their citizenship). I appreciate that my profile is unique.. I have met many similar individuals in Singapore who hold "western" passports but none who have an SG citizen parent.

Your chance for PR looks very slim. By right your SC parent, while overseas could have directly applied for SC for you via descent, right after you were born.

Please send the documents to them via email. But please do this only if this is a significant update.

If it was 20 or 25% you should do it. 7% is just COLA.

I slightly disagree with that 7% is just COLA. In Singapore single digit hike is norm, hardly anyone gets 20-25% on a yearly basis within in same company. This is as per my experience since last 3 years

I got my rejection today after applying in Dec 2019 and my letter simple states that "they have considered my application including supporting documents. We regret to inform you that your application is unsuccessful".

For others letter i have seen it has this as well "All SPR applications are assessed holistically under the prevailing criteria, including economic contribution, education qualifications and integration with Singapore society among other things." But it is missing from mine. Does it mean anything? Maybe I am reading too much into this

Anyway this is Our profile.

Age: 32
Race: Indian
Gender: Male
Marital Status: Married for 6 years
Education: Engineering Graduate from India
Job: Senior Software Engineer in company which is in software services for architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, media, education, and entertainment industries.
Length of stay in Singapore: almost 3 years (worked in the same company till now)
Income Tax Assessment : 3 Submitted
Total Job Experience: 9 Years
Salary:100k+
Pass: EP

applying with
- my wife in EP (72k+), Engineering Graduate and been here for 2 years ( working in the insurance company as Software engineer and submitted 2 Tax assessment)
- my son - 4-year-old

Any suggestion to improve my profile. I am thinking to try again after another 2-3 year or I should not apply at all in future
