PR application timeline

Post by jaysoh » Wed, 01 Jul 2020 2:43 pm

Hi guys,

I applied for PR (1st time) in Oct 19 and unsurprisingly it is still pending. Due to Covid-19, I have received an letter that the process will be delayed but I would like to understand if anyone with a similar profile has gotten his/her result in a similar time frame.

HK Chinese who works in an investment bank, I have been working in Singapore since Feb 2017.

Appreciate the insight. Thanks!

Not surprising. Even pre-COVID, some applications take up to more than 18 months. With COVID, I would expect the processing times to be even longer. Your waiting time is still within a normal range in my opinion.

Not going to be easy, as you have not stayed long.
