Chance of getting SC

Post by leslielyn » Thu, 18 Jun 2020 11:17 am

I have been in Singapore since Primary 1, currently studying in local Uni (engineering), PR since 2007. I applied for SC on early July 2019, and the status now is still pending. Many of my friends who applied in 2018 received approval letter within months, so I am not sure why mine is taking more than 11 months. Anyone know if it means there is a very high chance that I might get rejected? Thanks for helping!

The official timeline suggests 6-12 months, or longer.
11 months is nothing yet.. longer than 18 months isn't unusual either. It might be longer now given the covid situation. You'll receive an email when there's an update eventually, so relax.

and oh, The processing time says absolutely nothing about your chances of approval or rejection.
