Raffles Hospital

Post by abbby » Mon, 08 Jun 2020 9:44 am

Anyone uses Raffles Hospital for x-rays, ultrasounds, scans and follow ups with doctors?

How are their service and rates?

Expensive but ok the two times I've used them. I would not use them for intensive surgical procedures - I would go NUH instead.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.

I had an experience with them once, the staff was friendly and prompt. But the price tag is not worth it imo. For the similar price range, you can check with Gleneagles which is world class healthcare which I would bring my family to.

You're paying for the name.

I would add that they fill a need and that is for folks with good insurance or the means to pay for immediate private treatment. The last time I used them I was on an expat insurance deal (BUPA) and I had a piece of glass fly in my eye. I went down and they had in me in front of an opthamologist within 30 mins or so who used a microscope type instrument to remove the shard. I hate to think how long that would take at SGH, TTS or similar.
