Possible but no one knows what the PAP and ICA are going to do with immigration and SC approvals yet post Covid 19 although the consensus is they will slash approvals.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.

If it was sometime last year, we would have advised you to hold off until your first REP renewal in 2022.
Even though your nationality is a downside, the fact that you're married to a local and have a citizen kid adds to your favour.
But given the ongoing covid situation, your guess is as good as ours. either way, it would be wiser of you to hold off until your first REP renewal.
I've also noticed how much one earns seems to have no significant bearing on PR or citizenship applications for a long time now. (Unless youre a multi-billionaire perhaps..)

I just want to give you a shout out for your perfect nick Subcon Wretch. I doubt any "new" approvals will come through for some time now until the Gahmen decided they need an influx of migrants to artificially boost their GDP numbers.

Thank you so much for the suggestions let's see. I am only running for SC to buy a landed house.
If I get some updates I will update here so it will help others too.

We have applied for Citizenship in April 2019.
Our profile
Race: Indian
Age : 40 & 46 yrs
Kids : 2 daughters (both are at local schools & one studies at prestigious secondary school IP)
Salary: Working couple (110k + 200k) = 310k
Own one
condo
We have recently applied for LTVP for my mother. Do you think applying for LTVP impacts the citizenshp application in process?
What you think the chances are for our citizenship?
Thank you

How long are you in SG?
Chance may be low because of the age and ethnicity factor.

I know of a colleague who applied for SC around Jul or Aug 2018, got approved in Nov or Dec 2019.
India national, family of 4. One boy in a ‘better’ secondary school. Girl should be in P1 or P2. He’s around mid 40’s, has been in SG for more than 10 years, owning one private
property. Qualified accountant working in international bank.
But that was last year. In today’s climate, we just need to wait (longer) and see.

Well that response will end up on HWZ or Mothership for sure.

Glad you noticed and made sense of it! It is indeed exactly what you think it is.
Well, what can I say.. It's been well over a decade and a half of watching the same old stories and the Subsequent head-knocking from the senior Contributors there, so the nick was a result of it being permanently entrenched in my Subconciousness... (all puns intended
)
So much so that I could write a Masters thesis on it
On a side note, I've wondered for a while now if PNG was Papua New Guinea, or the more likely Persona Non Grata.

Papua New Guinea. I'm a former Missionary Kid from there. Persona Non Grata works as well.

Really. As long as it meets the Minimum requirements which is somewhere around 4.5K/pa basic we think. Unless you happen to be from Malaysia with a decent degree.
