No, to assume my intentions to pursue illegal activities is patently wrong. I've managed for years here without a helper but changing circumstances means I now need one but am unclear on the options available. Not sure why you assume my salary is 5k.

Well clearly it's not enough for the more expensive and obvious options. The harsh reality is that the pool of FDW's is shrinking rapidly and will not be replenished so you need to think about a longer term plan.

I know of one case where an FDW transfer was confirmed with an expat family. This happened yesterday but I suspect it's a special case. The family in question was a solo mother with kids.

Good to know at least approvals are coming for expats who are in real need

But the pool is also shrinking. I know girls leaving Sg rather than work for locals.

@STdownunder you might want to try again. Just heard of a transfer approved to an expat family. This time round no special circumstances, 2 parents 2 kids.

Now I wonder if this is a response of the gahmen to the election, and they want to make an even bigger difference between locals and foreigners ..
