Concurred with SF. The testimonials I have from past employments merely state the employment duration with the organisations, positions/titles through the years, brief description of job scope and last drawn salary. I would imagine that’s what ICA is after under A7.
Not volunteer certificate of how much you’ve donated to the Red Cross or how many pints of blood donated or recommendation letters from your friends who are SC or PR to tell how well you have integrated into the Singapore society, what an asset you will be to Singapore, what a loss if Singapore doesn’t give you PR. That’s for ICA to judge, not your friends.

The Testimonials from Past employers in A7 are nothing more than what is expected of a Letter from Current Employer (A9), As there are no other possible supporting documents to know anything about your previous employment apart from payslips.jwoods1864 wrote: ↑Thu, 04 Jun 2020 11:09 pmI thought u could upload recommendation sort of letters as A7 states:

The same story again- give them exactly what they ask for, never any less and absolutely nothing more can be well understood from all the posts here.
On a sidenote, as a long time lurker on this forum (for 15 years!), I must say that the no-nonsense advice and occasional snide chatter from the regulars has become so ingrained in my daily thought

I wonder why ICA does not crack down on these bogus PR agencies.
Its ok to provide form-filling services & advertise that.. but blatantly lying that their cover letters and shit will improve PR chances is surely BS that ICA can call out and put a stop to ? no ?

Well I suppose that's capitalism lol. It is a complete scam though. I suppose I can see the temptation if your English proficiency isn't good. However, they are essentially charging thousands to fill in a few forms.

It depends, some of them advertise that they analyze your profile, make sure your documents are in order, etc and charge for their service. they may say that they dont charge for just the cover letter.kozizi wrote: ↑Fri, 05 Jun 2020 9:47 amI wonder why ICA does not crack down on these bogus PR agencies.

I guess they figure if the person has that much money to burn, why not? After all the application forms were designed to be able to be filled out by an N level educated person and you need at least a minimum Bachelors Degree to qualify for PR.
