A thought.... you have less chance of being "identified as close contact" if scan entry "in" then exit "out" 10 seconds later (i.e. carry on shopping inside for an hour or so).
Bit irresponsible; I am not advocating.

That's a bit low rent isn't it.

Noone will be flagged for quarantine just because they happened to be in the same supermarket as an infected person (unlike heavy-handed places like Vietnam); these are transient encounters at best with low probability of infection, so this is mostly to give people a helpful heads-up.
