PR approval chance in 2020

Planning to apply for PR for the 6th time and need your valuable inputs on my profile and would like to know which area i'm lacking so that I can work on improving them.
All my previous 5 rejections came after a period of 6months, except the first one which took an year for rejection. 3 times applied alone and 2 times with spouse (while she was still working).
This time will be including my daughter in the application process.

- spouse on DP - Currently Not working (but have NOA for the past 2 years).

When was your last rejection and what are the main changes in your application since the last changes?

Thanks for your response. My last rejection was in november,2019.
The only change I will have in this new application is Increase in Salary & inclusion of my daughter in the application.
some additional information on my profile are,
1. I have been doing volunteer service since 2018
2. And monthly donations to charity since 2012
have included all these documents in my last application, but still got rejected.

How much more was your salary increase? If your application is similar to the past, then you can't really expect a different result.
If your wife is not working, that will not be in your favour. She needs to work to boost your family income.

Apply, but don't expect a different result.

As that favourite quote goes "insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"...

Very low.

First your ethnicity is against you.
And then your salary is low.

I don't think your degree is in something that would add value to Singapore - think IoT, FinTech, Biotech etc....

You could just apply and see what happens, but please don't be surprised if you get the reply in 12 months and it's a negative

Unless you move to EPass and upgrade your salary to be 6-7K+ min, your chances are too low.

Thanks for your response. Increase in salary was around 10%, the last time when i applied my wife was still working, still it didn't add value.
I would like to get your opinion on what else do you think could add value to the application other than the ones I have mentioned.
I'm not comparing it against my last application to see the success rate for next one and this is my 6th attempt and I can see that i'm missing something all along but not sure what's that, I want to build up my profile to make it stronger. But I have exhausted all the options I have heard till date.
Holding a local degree, staying here for 10+ years, working in non-IT, doing volunteer service along with monitory contributions for a long period, term insurance plans, NOA for 8+years.
so need your inputs on any other factor that I have not considered other than quota.

All evidence on this forum suggests that volunteering doesn't help.

If you want to get a higher chance, you need to look at it from your family perspective. Your wife is not working right? That means you are supporting her and your daughter. Say you are on 110k per year. Between the two of you, that means you are earning less than 5k a month. If your wife can work, it will boost your familial income levels.
Think about it from the gahman's point of view - you are the sole breadwinner. your wife is not working. your child will be entitled to various subsidies.
I have heard of Indian colleagues in finance who earn more than 10k per parent, still being rejected so it's a high hurdle you have applying for yourself.

Yes, true. Heard from people that nowadays they are taking longer than usual processing time. But just asking anyways if we would still have a chance. And the move back to home country is not yet final, still asking my company to reconsider until the PR result is out so I can localize in SG instead.
