Completing stage 3 Singapore citizenship from overseas SG embassy
Hi Guys,
I finished my e-journey and received the letter asking me to prepare all documentation for renunciation of my foriegn citizenship and be present in ICA in July 2020.
I am currently stranded in Jakarta and with the current Covid-19 situation donot want to travel.
Does any one of you have any experience completing the oath taking at a Singapore embassy in a foreign country versus the ICA building.
Cheers
Ivan

Not sure if even such option is available. Why not mail ICA and ask them?ivanferns29 wrote: ↑Tue, 19 May 2020 1:25 amHi Guys,

Considering Covid situation, I am sure the authorities will give you more time to complete by relaxing any cut off if specified in the letter. Further, as you are stranded you have all the more reason to do it as and when you are in singapore back. Can you give your details for the benefit of others ...like Nationality, PR when got, Race, Age, apprx salary(if you feel ok), whether you are applying as a family or alone (if married), How much time it took from Application to the date of receiving IPA letter. This will give an idea to others who are in the waiting list like me.

What in the heck has that got to do with the thread? It is immaterial when he applied. Or are you just a nosey-poker?vig.srinivasan93 wrote: ↑Thu, 21 May 2020 6:57 amThanks for the information. However you hve not given detail of when you applied for Citizenship.

SMT ....why u are getting irritated I really unable to understand. I am asking some one else (not you) regarding the time lag between application to IPA. If Mr Ivan says that atleast I would not mind. As if you are out to judge how one should make posts.... I wish wisdom dawn on you. However I admit that you have very good knowledge on this board but this post of yours is unwarranted

Hi, appreciate an evaluation of my chances. Thanks!
Primary Applicant
Age : just turned 21
Race : Chinese Malaysian
Gender : Female

Been a PR since birth, born and bred in Singapore. No income declared as I would be starting my degree program (Finance) in a local university. Does having no salary affect my chances of being successful in my application?
