International School Singapore

A friend is looking for a 'holistic' school for her child, less homework and more 1-to-1 interaction with teachers. Which International School has such traits?

Well not a "for profit" one and that probably includes some of the others as well. Rent and salaries are expensive here and the int schools jam them in to recoup the costs.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

SAS tends to produce stellar academic results compared to other International Schools, the environment is also supposed to be a lot less malicious and a lot more supportive. As the child gets older, workload will inevitably increase, but I think balance is what is important.
