Topic: Excess Mortality
In the UK, since the lock-down, many more people dying due to Covid-19.
(based on average weekly / monthly for past 5 years).
It is disturbing that many more people are dying NOT due to Covid-19. So is the lock-down really saving many lives?

Related, the modelling projection of 500,00 deaths (if no lock-down) is widely accepted now as a gross overestimate. The UK govt.'s assertion that their interventions have saved a substantial number of lives is thus highly questionable.
