I'm not sure how it's possible for a hairstylist to take an hour just to cut, wash and dry your hair. I'm of course assuming that the majority of their customers don't look like Rapunzel.
Also, I assume the time limit's put in place to (marginally) reduce our chances of getting the virus from someone in the salon. If that's so, then why the need to specify 'basic hair-cutting'? I'm in desperate need of a dye job to touch up my roots. How about if I get my stylist to do it for me within an hour, and then I run home to do my own washing and blow drying?

1-hr service at hair salons?
Re: 1-hr service at hair salons?
I am afraid after 12 May, hair salon can only do hair cut and not other services.
Seriously, there is no point restricting the services. Although enforcement of mask wearing is absolutely necessary given the close proximity to the stylist.
Therefore, many hour salons opt not to even open.
