Update about my Pr application- today 8th June
Received letter from ica -
👉😭
We have considered your application ,
Including supporting documents,
We regret to inform you that your application is not successful, may continue to work with your current pass

Recently after I submit additional document that ica requested I also email ica my salary increment recently and also my investments amount 50k with bank recpt .
Very fast they reject after I submit all my documents 😓

Bangla also not favourite flavor.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Extremely difficult. Not impossible, but not likely.

Dear sir ,
Should I let my wife see MP and seek help from them and appeal against the rejection? Or appeal without MP help ?

no different.

Even with MP letter, it does not add any weight.

You can try but MP are reluctant to help non SC as they face criticism from their constituents (and rightly so).

So Bangladeshi people
Can’t get Pr ?
1. Muslim not favourite religion.
2. Bengali not favourite language.
3. Skin color not favourite color (no BLM here).
4. No political advantage to allowing Bangla in unlike MY and PRC.
5. And finally I think Bangla also fall into the "other" caterogy (and not the Indian) which has only ~500 PR awarded last year.

Honestly I would start thinking of migrating somewhere like Canada or Australia. Undoubtedly you're a good guy (I mean you catch favourite flavour lady as wife) but you'll never achieve your full potential in this s...hole.

A 34 yo male marrying a SC 50 yo female, I think this may be the main issue. In a Western society this would make the eyebrows raised, in Singapore, I would expect to be seen as the marriage of convenience even after 5 years.

OP also didn't mention any children and for the above scenario even if ICA assumes good intention then unlikely any offspring would be expected so the only contributing factor is the income and that would be the same on EP with less resources (benefits) possibly coming from the country.

I missed reading the age of the spouse completely.
