Application date: Sep 2019

Until you pass 12 months, you shouldn't even be worrying yourself about it yet. Most are going upwards of 18 months.

Hello folks,
I am planning to apply for PR during this time, but am a little confused as to how to get the Annex A signed and stamped from my company HR. Since my company is not a designated essential service, we are all working from home during this circuit breaker.
My HR proposed that they can sign it digitally and send to me but am not sure if that would work for ICA. So looking for suggestions/advise here. Btw, from signing & stamping digitally my HR meant putting a scan image of the sign and company stamp in the designated space on the annex A form and not formal software like Docu Sign or Adobe Sign.
Thanks!

Hi,
I had recently made my application, and i was told that its possibly to digitally sign the Annex A (with Wet Stamp), as long as you can produce the original for checking later

Thanks! so I gather from your response that means the digital scan of the company stamp will not suffice.. then i guess ill need to approach my company HR again..

Hi all,
Just an update. I just received a letter from ICA two days ago. They mentioned in the letter that due to the current uncertainties due to circuit breaker period, they will need longer time to process the PR application as compared to the initial timeline of 4-6 months.

Does it really matter how you get notified?

Hi Kian Wee,
The letter was sent through post. Same scenario happened to other people around me too. I applied since last year Sept 2019.

I wont bother to ask next logical question if your applying for PR.

Hi guys, another update from my post.
In September 2020, I received an email from ICA asking for additional info - the CV of my family members.
In early November 2020, my PR was approved.
Thank you everybody for your advices earlier!

Congrats @thecheekygirl!
My PR application is pending just over a year. I also received an email from ICA asking for additional info - the CV of my family members a few months ago. Fingers crossed that there will be good news soon!
