Construction workers living on Construction Sites (Covid-19)

Post by musical box » Sat, 02 May 2020 12:33 pm

They are now on a 28 day (14+14) stay-at-home notice.

Are these "homes" regulated? Do you think it matters / impacts spread of COVID?

I think the high numbers speak for themselves. There are still migrant workers living in smaller dorms, and some who are continuing to work as their jobs come under 'essential services', and I think these factors are all contributing to the continued rise in cases. Certainly, an extension of the SHN could do some good, but I doubt it's enough.

Yes - I see them around me. I'd rather they were there than stuffed into dorms. Physical distancing is very important to stop the spread.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Sorry, beg to disagree.
They are "stuffed" into site accommodation that is not regulated.
