Do you think ABSD will be lifted?
Do you think ABSD will be lifted?
Looks like people might be spooked with whats happening now with Covid19..do you think ABSD will be lifted to boost property sales?
The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing. If you can fake that, you've got it made. - Groucho Marx (1890-1977)
Re: Do you think ABSD will be lifted?
Not until it's too late.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Re: Do you think ABSD will be lifted?
Not, yet, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was adjusted at some point.
Re: Do you think ABSD will be lifted?
No. Because Singapore, like Oz and NZ will achieve at some point eradication of C-19 and become a certified safe haven and the rivers of money running here will be immense. I actually expect an explosion in the high end market now. Some of my property friends agree with me and are seeing enquiries to buy right now even when viewings are not possible!. Folks with money in China, Indo, Thailand. MY etc will be busting the door down as soon as the highly competent gahmen here fix the problem. I personally expect ABSD to actually go up.
I should add I have some property here and have a vested interest but I've gone from being a panicky seller in one week to a "hold on to the gold rush" as I've seen what's happened in Australia and NZ. This thing can be beat. The beast can be killed at least in island nations with literal moats but that's years away for large continents with land borders.
