15 minutes high intensity workout at home

Post by abbby » Thu, 16 Apr 2020 5:57 pm

This was a good alternative to my regular jogging, an intense 15 mins high intensity workout with no equipment needed..just a yoga mat...did the job..and certainly looking forward to losing weight. 8-)

Anyone had success in losing weight with HIT?

Just curious, during this CB period are we allowed to jog outdoor alone?

Yes, but only close within your own neighbourhood/estate. In fact, the preference is alone as there are covidiots out there who will take a picture of you with somebody else and start screaming social distancing and you will end up being doxxed online somewhere. Don't give the locals anything to whinge about but cause they do NOT investigate before calling foul. You must wear a mask before you start your run and you must put it back on after your run, e.g., cooling down walk. It sucks but it is what it is. However, if you are on SHN you are not allow out of your premises at all, full stop.

Thank you. I just need my fresh air. Staying indoor for such a long period without outdoor activities is really killing me. I used to hike every week and stop since CB started.

It's good to take a walk/jog once in a while. I've gained weight even with exercise, which means I am not doing enough walk which I do on normal days.

I am following some youtube cardio exercises that can be done at home. I am seeing some slight progress on the weight loss front (1-2kg). I believe it is my diet that is preventing me from seeing better results.

Wow, that's amazing results at 1-2kg! Who did you follow? Chloe Ting?

I am following Chloe Ting and Tyen, they're both great, I've managed to tone but not lose weight, please share ur tips how you achieved it. I need to drop 5-6 kg.

1 to 2 kg? Over what kind of time frame?

I am following workouts by BodyProject which is not hard on my knees ( moderate to high intensity and low impact, jumping is optional). I also sometimes follow Chloe Tings abs workouts to supplement the cardio. The timeframe is about 1 month. It should be more but my diet has not adjusted yet.

Rope skipping is a good cardio. 80% diet and 20% cardio + body weight training will give you good results in 4 months. I have reduced my weight from 79kgs to 61 kgs in a period of 2 years now.

Thanks for the great suggestion..I have to agree skipping is good albeit very tiring..3 minutes of skipping almost felt like a a 2km run. going to add it to my exercise regime.
